Kootenay DanceWorks was founded in 2006 and is the premier training program in the area.  
The school is dedicated in promoting the art of classical ballet training which is the foundation of all genres of dance.  

The aim of the studio is to develop a solid base from which to move to the next level.  The programs are suited to keen young dancers who wish to pursue training in a challenging environment and to dancers wishing to pursue a career in the dance arts.  
Dancers receive high-attention training while receiving the highest possible standards of excellence while giving dancers
 the opportunity through careful and inspired training, to reach their dancing goals.

Renée Salsiccioli, Director of the School provides an environment where dancers receive excellent training technically and instruction in an air of unbridled  love of dance.  Her love of children and her passion for dance is the driving force that enables her students to find their own motivation and to strive for their personal best.
